The websites below (under 'links to mockups') are exhibits of jobs I worked on recently. Illustrative examples of my skills are represented--clients names were changed to protect myself. You'll see a bit of XHTML, CSS, SQL, etc. My goal is efficiency via design and technology and my mentors are the people at Amazon and Google.

The process starts with pencil and paper, working out the basic mechanics and heiarchy, and then pressing on with several sketches. Once these sketches are approved, I move onto laying it out with Adobe InDesign, using Photoshop and Illustrator as a graphic resource.

I then save the file via Acrobat and pull it into Image Ready, for slicing. This makes a working model from which the technical aspects can be addressed--size of the Flash stage, testing Javascript, etc. "Tinkering" with the model, as well as publishing, are done in Dreamweaver. A model provides an invaluable representation that assists in keeping the the approved look and feel, while experimenting with new features.

The real stuff is behind the vault, but this should give you a good idea of what I'm working on and how it is conceptually supposed to function.
